Chelsea - what they need to do

Chelsea is a team in disarray... Losing in the "Theatre Of Dreams" or rather Roman Abramovich's dream of winning the only title he hasn't tasted success in the UEFA Champions League after winning the League Title, FA Cup, Carling Cup.

This is the second time Manchester United had the upper-hand over Chelsea, the first time was in the 2008-2009 Champions League final in Moscow where Chelsea was at the brink of winning the title in the penalty shoot-out till Chelsea captain John Terry miss the penalty which would seal Chelsea the Champions League Finals but he slipped as he kicked the shot wide, Anelka seal their own fate when he missed his kick in the sudden-death penalty shoot-out after Van De Sar predicted the right way Anelka took his penalty, leaving Manchester United legend in the making, Ryan Giggs to slot in the winning the 2008-2009 Champions League title.

this season is no other; as before was C. Ronaldo but now Wyane Rooney is the scourge of Chelsea as his goal gave a vital lead to the second leg which United beat Chelsea 2-1.

Chelsea need to revamp their squad. Their squad is ailing at best and are ageing. John Terry is 30, Frank Lampard is turning 33 soon, Drogba is 33, Anelka is 32 which is a not good sign considering the Barclays Premier League is a fast paced league and its demand is aplenty to the players.

but with Daniel Sturridge & Gael Kakuta performing in their loan spells in Bolton Wanderers and Fulham. both are capable to replace Drogba and Anelka. The problem is to replace Lampard.
