2011 NBA Playoffs - Oklahoma City Thunders Vs. Denver Nuggets

The National Basketball Association (NBA) playoff is upon basketball fan after a hectic and eventful season.

New team in Chicago Bulls are the top team in the Eastern Conference and San Antonio Spurs are the top dogs in the Western Conference. Bulls were dominant in the regular season. Beating Miami in all 3 meeting and hold Home-Court advantage throughout the Play-off till the NBA Finals should they reach the NBA Finals.

Spurs are the odd between themselves and Bulls as Spurs is laden with experience and youth whilst Bulls is laden with youth. No one including me thought that Spurs will be Western Conference no. 1 team, cos Tim Duncan was playing limited minutes while budding Brazilian rookie Tiago Splinter get the minutes that Duncan didn't use to acclimatise to NBA.

The most interesting match-up in the Play-Off in the Western Conference is the Oklahoma City Thunders Vs. Denver Nuggets where its the match-up of 2 superstar against a team without a superstar but this match-up is interesting and intriguing as both teams play a high octane in their offence.

Nuggets have no superstar but they have been playing well defensively and they are sharing the ball and 6 to 7 players are scoring in double digits. Galio and Chandler is a key players to defend Kevin Durant or to try to stop him a bit. Jr. Smith is Nuggets x-factor, capable of scoring once he gets going.

OKC is much tougher with the addition of Kendrik Perkins and with Serge Ibaka beside him.. shot block extrodinaire and a tough defender in the post. OKC is not a team to be reckon with. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant will be the lynch pin of the offence but don't count out OKC's 6th man James Harden who is capable of dropping 20 in any given night.

But I see OKC winning the series by 5 games. cos of KD35
